        Dear XXX,

        Thank you for contacting us.
        The issue that slow response of HARK Designer is just reported to us recently.
        So, we were working on fixing this issue temporally.

        First, we would like you to check the setting of Chromium by following the steps below.

        Step 1. Type chrome://settings in the address bar of Chromium and hit Enter.

        Scroll down the page and Click on [Advanced].
        Scroll down the page and Check and Make sure that [Use hardware acceleration when available] in [System] category is set to ON.
        Restart Chromium and start HARK Designer.

        If the performance improves, please ignore the rest of steps.
        Otherwise, go to Step 2.

        Step 2. Type chrome://flags in the address bar of Chromium and hit Enter
        Press the [Reset all to default] button if any item is highlighted in white (modified)
        Restart Chromium and start HARK Designer.

        If the performance improves, please ignore the rest of steps.
        Otherwise, go to Step 3.

        Step 3. Decompress attached file and then, replace /usr/bin/hark_designer by typing the following command line commands.
        #Please note that HARK 2.4 scheduled to be released in December 2017 includes this patch, so download the file when you are using HARK 2.3 or earlier.

        $ sudo cp hark_designer /usr/bin/hark_designer

        This will enable the option f to start Firefox instead of Chromium for HARK Designer

        $ hark_designer f

        At this point, we cannot determine the cause, how this trouble happen, what can be the trigger, or if this happens under any certain condition or not.
        Will you please tell us how this happened, when you noticed, or anything, if you could remember?
        We assume that HARK Designer was running just fine in your computer before from your past inquiry.

        Best,

        HARK Support Team

          Dear HARK Support Team,

          Thank you very much for your help.

          I went through the three steps, and the issue was solved in step3. Now HARK is running fine in Firefox.

          Before,as you assume, HARK Designer was running fine in Ubuntu 14.04.

          The issue started:

          – I formated and deleted the Ubuntu’s 14.04 partition

          -I made new partition and I installed Ubuntu 14.04, I updated my drivers, and I installed HARK 2.3.1

          Hope this information is helpful. If you need further information, or if you need me to do further checkups, I’ll be glad to do it.

          Best,

          XXX
